Introduction to Pole Fitness Instruction 1- Day Course

Pole Fitness is an exciting and rapidly developing industry. What was once thought of as a ‘fitness fad’ has now become a firmly established, mainstream fitness pursuit. There are many opportunities for competent and qualified instructors of pole fitness. Gyms, fitness centres and dance studios are just a few of the places that employ Pole Fitness instructors. By training with a reputable Pole Fitness education provider you can get your career started on the right track.

The Pole Studio Introduction to Pole Fitness Instruction course is an interactive, practical workshop that will introduce students to key principles of Pole Fitness instruction. This course welcomes students of all levels of experience, even those who do not have a history in Pole Fitness. Attending this course is a great confidence booster for those who do not yet feel ready to commit to one of our 2-day intensive, accredited instructor training programmes.

Subjects covered on this course include: health & safety, class structure, move breakdown, move delivery, cardio exercises, transitional moves, strengthening moves, tricks, spins and pole stretching. There will be an informal group assessment at the end of the course so that students can practise their newly learnt teaching skills. The workshop leader will be a qualified and experienced instructor with in-depth industry knowledge so students will get plenty of opportunity to ask questions about Pole Fitness instruction and career progression.

Preparation and Clothing
Bring drinking water, snacks and a light lunch as there will be short breaks during the course.
Wear comfortable gym clothes that you can move freely in. Shorts are recommended in order to grip the pole with your legs, however it is not compulsory to wear shorts for this course. You may wear trainers or go bare foot during the practical sessions. Bring a small towel to wipe the pole.
Please do not wear any moisturisers on your hands, arms and legs. Moisturisers make your skin and the poles slippery which is dangerous for you and other students. Slipping on the pole will also prevent you from performing the techniques.
